Letter to American Consulate in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil,

Dear Antonio,

First off I would like to thank you and all your staff at the Consulate for all your help. My family and I are very pleased to know that there are people that care and know how to do their job with the personal care and professional ethics that your staff has show.
Please know that Mr. Jacob the lawyer was also a great help and did everything that we asked. We would recommend him to anyone else that you might come across with problems similar to ours. His fees were not outrageous and on several occasions he was very flexible. He was very pro active when he found out that I was coming to Rio and got an emergency session with the Judge of Minors. He used his professionalism and caring will to achieve outstanding result on my behalf in a short period of time.
Lastly I want you to know that my brother George Lucas is now in the United States living with me and my family partly thanks to all the effort and work of all involved.

I retained the services of Mr. Jacob, around the the beginning of March 2007 in order to handle the filing and process of divorce in Brazil. I am a resident of the USA in Miami Florida and have not personally met Mr. Jacobs, although we have had several telecoms and numerous email contacts. I entrusted Mr. Jacobs with my cash deposit/retainer and he processed all documents as needed. He completed the case during the month of July. I was very impressed with the manner in which he stayed in contact, seemingly answering my emails/questions within a day or two and many times within the hour. Each time I attempted to contact him via telephone, he answered the telephone personally, I do not recall ever getting voice mail either. It seemed to me that he was always accessible, which was far more impressive than the attorney's that I have ever deal with here in the USA. I was satisfied with his services overall and would use them again if needed. I have no personnel relationship with him. I found his law firm by doing a Google search on the internet, and I had no personal recommendations to assist my decision. My case was a consensual divorce proceeding. I have never been a lawyer, and my profession is in the commercial aviation services field.
